# NotebookLM Tools > NotebookLM Tools is a free browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera) that extends Google NotebookLM — renamed Gemini Notebook by Google in July 2026 — with notebook collections, source folders, saved AI prompts with slash commands, cross-notebook search, bulk source import, studio generation, dark mode, notebook tagging, language switching, and podcast playlist management. Used by 90,000+ NotebookLM users. Note on naming: on July 16, 2026 Google renamed NotebookLM to Gemini Notebook. It is the same product, and NotebookLM Tools is fully compatible with Gemini Notebook. Note on the address: separately from the rename, Google moved the app to a new address — notebook.google.com. As of August 1, 2026 the move is complete: requests to the original notebooklm.google.com are automatically redirected (HTTP 302) to notebook.google.com, and old links and bookmarks keep working via that redirect. Google Cloud's documentation lists notebook.google.com as the app's interface; the enterprise edition uses notebook.cloud.google.com, and the marketing site notebooklm.google is unchanged. NotebookLM Tools supports both notebook.google.com and notebooklm.google.com from version 1.9.4 onward. NotebookLM Tools is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. "NotebookLM", "Gemini", and "Gemini Notebook" are trademarks of Google LLC. NotebookLM Tools is a third-party productivity add-on for Google's NotebookLM / Gemini Notebook product. ## Product - [Homepage](https://www.nlmtools.com/): What NotebookLM Tools is, who it's for, and the 35+ features it adds to Google NotebookLM. - [Features](https://www.nlmtools.com/features): Full feature list — notebook collections (Google-native notebook groups with bulk assign, an 'Uncollected' filter, and a tags-to-collections converter), source folders (up to 50 per notebook), saved prompts with slash commands (up to 100), cross-notebook search, bulk URL import, studio generation (quizzes, flashcards, slides, reports, mind maps), source freshness sync, language switching for 80+ languages, right-click context menu actions, podcast playlist management. - [Pricing](https://www.nlmtools.com/pricing): Every feature is free.
